CUET Pattern
Mode of Examination – CUET is a computer-based test (CBT) that is conducted online.
Duration of Examination – The duration of CUET exam is 2 hours.
Types of Questions – CUET consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Sections – CUET consists of two sections – Part A and Part B.
- Part A is common to all programs, and it consists of 25 questions. The questions are asked from the subjects: English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude
- Part B consists of 75 questions, and it is specific to the program that the candidate is applying for. The questions are asked from the subjects that are relevant to the program, and it tests the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the subject.
Marking Scheme – Each correct answer in CUET is awarded 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Cut-Off Marks – The cut-off marks for CUET vary for different programs and universities. The cut-off marks are determined by the university based on various factors like the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats.
